The New Testament Church

My wife Peggy and I were talking the other day about the Church of this Century compared to the New Testament Church of the First Century. One of the differences we discussed was that people were coming to Christ daily, as we read in the book of Acts.  "And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved." (Acts 2:47b)
Over the last year, we have had the privilege of leading about one person per month to the Lord through our ministry.  We praise the Lord and rejoice over each one!  And yet, our hope is that soon we will see even more come into the family of God, not just monthly but weekly... and then daily...We have a lot of work, prayer and fasting ahead of us...but with God all things are possible!
New Testament Church or Church of the 21st Century?  Which one do you want to resemble?
Until next time,
        God's Grace and Peace
