Blessings in His wonderful Name!

Friends I had posted last year this scripture from 2 Timothy and shared how we need to be ready for the 2nd coming of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ... so, brothers and sisters let us remember that the coming of our Lord is nearer than ever...  The Apostle Paul writes,  "But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. And from such people turn away!"  (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
This description fits today's society with-out a doubt,... violence, death, sexual perversion, immorality, homosexuality to name a few... are promoted by the music industry, Hollywood and the culture of our day...
So my brethren, "let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. 23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching." (Hebrews 10:22-25)

Until next time,

Blessings in Jesus Name!

Our first Service of the year in our little Chapel in Waquoit was filled with vision for 2013 and most importantly the presence of God!

Peggy lead us in Worship and ushered in the Spirit of God into our meeting... we opened the Word of God to Acts 2:36-46 and got a good view of what God wants His Church to look like...  Verse 42 says, "And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.  We focused on these 4 points and believe we as a Church are not only to reach the lost, but make disciples according to the Word the Lord gave us...  That means everyone one of us in the body of Christ are to be making disciples!

Peggy again lead us in a chores at the close of Service and the Spirit of God fell upon us once again... the Word of the Lord came forth for those who needed victory in their lives or over a particular situation... to those who cried out to Lord - God would meet them...  it was awesome to hear the voices of those in the congregation crying out to God!!!  I know there will be some testimonies soon coming.

Until next time,

God's Grace and Peace!
